I see and hear all the madness in human beings, yet I pay attention to the ground under my feet and delight in the blue sky above.

Dear Laura,

Your words touch every fiber of my soul. Our beautiful nation is being attacked before most of our eyes. I felt, and heard The Star Spangled Banner playing in my head as I read you. Tears are all that flowed next. Thank you for letting me grieve over this tragedy. I still believe we will prevail. But, the pain in my heart is not going to subside until the evil is escorted out of our Government. My only question to our Military is, why aren't you stepping in and ending this nightmare for our people of all nationalities, religions and color? God has nothing to do with what's going on here. God is about love. I passed once and came back. I can unequivocally say, God is waiting to see if the human race is evolving any farther. Things like racism and hate toward anyone for being different should be nonexistent by now. Our vets, seniors, disabled and children should be taken care of no matter what. There is no room on earth for hatred and deliberate pain any longer. "When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn." Written by Pete Seeger in1955.

Thank you, Laura. You are a remarkable human being & writer.

Love too all the world,

Christine Wakefield (Hynes)

Hi Christine,

There is certainly much to be disheartened by. I hope that you too, find comfort in knowing there are other humans who care deeply about this country, it's people, and all the beauty that still exists within our grasp. Don't lose hope.

Thank you for your kind words and comment.

Sending ❤️

I never lose hope. It’s one of the things I count on in this life. I’m sorry if my words came off that way, but I’m hoping all the time and having faith as well. Thank you for your reply.

Warm wishes and respect,

Christine
