Enough
A Poem
but am I important? as honeybee, wet nectar feet of bubble wands, o'er pollen yellowed aster and am I needed? as river spring, deftly pushing through frozen ground, new life's former dormancy or am I of consequence? as treetop nest, sturdy haven woven stick and thread, cradling egg of Robin's blue, and too, am I hopeful? as first spring thaw, melting crust, ice, snow, unearthing what lies below and above all else am I kind? as tulip purple, nodding gentle stem, sepal smile at the ready, happy to see you once again, can we sit? my friend, and consider our place, ants among the trees, feet of water racing rain clouds and let our just steady love be enough.

I really love how you constructed the stanzas this way; the questions stand out, not so much to be answered but to prepare us for what follows. Beautiful 🖤
This is very beautiful.
